Sohra MLA reports Dympep Skywalk project hits 30 percent mark

Shillong: Construction crews have finished 30 percent of the Dympep Skywalk and Tourist Hub. Sohra MLA Gavin Miguel Mylliem confirmed the progress after visiting the site this past Saturday. Workers are moving fast. The project sits on a sanctioned budget of 51 crore rupees provided through the PM-DevINE Scheme.

The hub centers on a 40-metre-long skywalk. Mylliem inspected the site and verified that the build stays on track for a timely finish. He expects the finished site to improve the visitor experience in the Mawkdok-Dympep area while boosting regional infrastructure. Mylliem stated that the project will "significantly enhance the visitor experience in the Mawkdok-Dympep area, strengthen regional tourism infrastructure and create new economic opportunities for local communities and businesses."
