RAF Head Constable Injured in Manipur Grenade Attack

Imphal: A head constable from the Rapid Action Force sustained minor injuries during a grenade attack in Manipur. The blast rocked the B/107 RAF camp at New Lambulane in the Imphal East district on Thursday, October 8.

Assailants struck at 10 pm. The force of the explosion targeted the camp gate. The incident fell under the jurisdiction of the Porompat police station. Sources confirmed the injured officer as Dhananjay Rai, a head constable originally from Uttar Pradesh.

Authorities have no leads on the attackers. The motive remains hidden. Officials stated, "Further details are awaited." Investigators are currently processing the scene to identify those responsible for the assault.
