Guwahati: Authorities recovered the body of 35-year-old Imam Hussain Barbhuiya from the Rukni river near Kabuganj on Wednesday. A State Disaster Response Force team pulled the victim from the water after he went missing during a struggle. In a separate incident in Kokrajhar, police recovered the body of 47-year-old Mahesh Brahma, the personal assistant to BTC Chief Executive Member Hagrama Mohilary.
