Agartala: Law enforcement officials have issued a formal directive restricting police and Tripura State Rifles (TSR) personnel from creating social media content while in uniform. The move aims to maintain professional standards and discipline across the force by prohibiting the filming of reels and other digital content while on duty or in official attire.
The administration highlighted concerns regarding the conduct of officers online and requested strict adherence to the new policy. Authorities stated, "Reels, social media contents by Police, TSR personnel in uniform restricted." This measure is expected to curb the rising trend of uniformed personnel participating in social media viral challenges and casual digital activity.
