Kohima: Phek Deputy Commissioner Rhosietho Nguori has issued a traffic advisory regarding upcoming construction on the Kohima-Jessami road. Ongoing hill excavation work between Losatephe and Lanezho villages requires temporary travel limitations to protect commuters.

The restriction impacts the stretch from Ch. 101+060 to Ch. 101+140 under Package-V of the road project. Vehicular movement for all types of transport will be partially restricted for five days, beginning June 10. According to the advisory, the measure is "a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the general public" during the work.

Authorities confirmed that the restrictions will be in effect daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the duration of the five-day period.
