Officials Push for Accuracy in Nagaland Census Operations

Kohima: Nagaland officials are tightening their grip on census data quality. ADC Vekusheyi Rhakho met with supervisors in Chiephobozou this Wednesday to review the ongoing House Listing Operation. He told the team, "Stressing the importance of quality and accuracy of data, he urged supervisors to make regular visits and conduct random checks to clear doubts."

Rhakho demanded strict adherence to department rules. He ordered supervisors to fix errors immediately and keep all census information confidential. Staff must consult Master Trainers or Nodal officers whenever they hit a wall. Representatives from the Directorate of Census in Kohima joined the meeting to iron out technical guidelines for the local enumerators.

Meanwhile, EAC Zuchibemo Ezung headed to Meluri village to keep an eye on field work. He met with village authorities and the census team to watch the count in action. Ezung wants total precision. The team is now working to ensure the 2027 Census reflects accurate and comprehensive information for the region.
