"A people faithful to their history, traditions and collective aspirations could never be erased by time," the group stated. They argued that these shared values allow society to thrive across generations.
Nagas share a common past. They have a duty to protect what their ancestors left behind. The group hopes the celebration builds more solidarity among all Naga tribes. They want a new push for peace, justice, and better lives for the next generation.
