NEISSR and ISRN Host Cyber Security and Social Stock Exchange Workshop

Kohima: The North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research held a one day workshop on June 16, 2026, in Chumoukedima. Partnering with the India Social Responsibility Network, the event focused on cyber security and the Social Stock Exchange. NGO leaders, academicians, and development experts attended the training.

ISRN associate director Ashish Mansharamani opened the session. He warned organizations about the risks of handling sensitive data online. He also pushed for better transparency through the Social Stock Exchange. This platform links social groups with potential donors and investors.

CEO Santosh Gupta detailed ISRN efforts in healthcare, environment, and women's empowerment. He urged regional groups to chase new CSR opportunities. Vimal Bhatter from SEBI walked attendees through the rules, eligibility, and compliance. He stated, "The platform placed measurable social impact and accountability at its core."

Experts from CyberPeace led a session on digital safety. Shiwani Mundra showed participants how to register for the exchange. The event aimed to sharpen institutional skills and improve resource gathering for the region.
