Kohima: The Nagaland State Dental Council has issued a formal directive requiring all registered members with expired credentials to complete their renewals by June 20. This mandate specifically targets professionals who registered between 2019 and April 2021, urging them to verify their current status and complete the necessary paperwork promptly.
To process these renewals, members must obtain forms from Room 211 at the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare. Applicants are required to surrender their old registration certificates when submitting their renewal requests. The council cautioned that failure to meet the June 20 deadline could result in the imposition of penalties.
The council also addressed members currently holding provisional certificates, instructing them to transfer their registrations to the Nagaland State Dental Council immediately. The notification stated that "failure to do so could result in their names being removed from the register."
Beyond immediate renewal requirements, the council advised all members currently holding valid Nagaland State Dental Council registrations to enroll in the National Dental Register. This process, overseen by the National Dental Commission, requires members to submit all mandatory documentation to maintain their professional standing.
