Naga Women Hoho Hosts Health Seminar in Dimapur

Kohima: The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) gathered at Hotel Saramati on August 8, 2026, to host a seminar dedicated to women's physical and mental wellness. The event split into two distinct sessions. Experts covered midlife transitions and emotional health struggles.

Dr. Emmanuel L. Yanthan from Evita GyneCare Clinic led the first session, titled "Life After 40: Four Pillars of Midlife Care." He detailed the hormonal shifts women face during midlife. He urged attendees to adopt healthy habits and schedule regular medical check-ups.

The second session focused on the psychological toll of modern life. She spoke about the need for professional help, stating: "The session focused on recognising anxiety and depression among women and the importance of seeking timely emotional and professional support."

Organizers provided attendees with practical health knowledge and space for discussion. The NWHD thanked the Chief Medical Officer of Dimapur, the Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Dimapur, and Dr. Yanthan for providing first-aid supplies and medicine. The group also recognized Niholu Ayemi, OSD Transport for the Government of Nagaland, for his assistance in holding the program.
