Imphal: The Naga Students Federation (NSF) recently completed a two-day solidarity and relief mission across Manipur to support communities impacted by the state's current unrest. The delegation, which included federation officials, advisors, and representatives from several student unions in Nagaland, traveled through multiple districts including Senapati, Kangpokpi, Imphal, and Ukhrul.
During the visit, the team distributed essential relief materials to families in Ukhrul. The representatives also met with various civil society organizations to discuss local challenges and focus on strengthening cooperation among Naga communities. In Makhan Village, the delegation engaged with village leaders and families affected by recent abductions involving Kuki SoO militants.
The federation emphasized that the mission served to assess the situation on the ground while offering direct encouragement to those facing hardship. According to the organization, the mission was undertaken to stand in solidarity with affected families, assess ground realities, and reaffirm the federation’s commitment to the welfare, safety, and unity of the Naga people during these challenging times.
