Kohima: Mount Tiyi College students turned the College Conference Hall into a stage on October 1. The history department held an inter-semester competition to make the past feel real. Students performed under the theme History Comes Alive. They swapped dusty textbooks for costumes and dialogue.
The 5th Semester claimed victory with The Rise of Fascism in Italy. The 3rd Semester took second place for France 1789: The Cry for Liberty. The 1st Semester rounded out the podium with Slavery in Ancient Greece. Participants focused on historical accuracy, stage presence, and acting.

Principal Dr Bweyhunle Khing urged faculty to blend practical activities into the curriculum. Vice Principal Dr Khyopenthung Tsopoe drew parallels to William Shakespeare to highlight the power of performance.
