Guwahati: Morigaon hosted a training session on August 14 to sharpen the rollout of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund. The event targeted field-level officials tasked with getting cash into the hands of local farmers, entrepreneurs, and Farmer Producer Organisations.

Officials need to move fast. The state wants better reach for its infrastructure schemes. The program taught staff how to navigate the application process and provide better guidance to the public. They must act as bridges for those seeking support for farm-related projects.

Proper guidance drives results. Officials were explicitly told to play a proactive role in guiding beneficiaries through the application and implementation process, thereby strengthening the reach and impact of the AIF in the district.
