Kohima: Modern College hosted Education Fair 2026 on July 17 at its Piphema campus. The Department of Education organized the event to highlight student creativity and practical classroom applications. Twenty-six participants displayed self-designed models and interactive teaching aids.
Kekhrivi opened the program with a welcome address. Debasish Bora, an assistant professor, then spoke about the fair's core goals. He stressed the need for new methods. "The objectives of the fair and stressed the importance of creativity, experiential learning and effective use of teaching learning materials in modern education," Bora noted during his introduction.
Dr. Vitso Yano, the college principal, formally cut the ribbon on the exhibits. Students used the event to practice teamwork and refine their presentation skills. They swapped ideas and analyzed educational theories through hands-on work. Assistant Professor Cilule Ndang closed the day with a vote of thanks, marking the event as a success for the department.
