Imphal: Manipur's youth athletes took over Srinagar. The state's boys and girls teams crushed the competition at the 29th Sub-Junior National Sepak Takraw Championships. They brought home a haul of gold medals.
The boys team achieved a clean sweep. They grabbed gold in every category: Team, Regu, and Quadrant. The girls followed suit. They secured gold in Team and Regu, while adding a silver medal in the Quadrant event to their tally.
Yumnam Khemchand Singh lauded the young athletes for their grit. The Minister noted that their win brought state-wide honor. He said, "Their remarkable achievement had brought immense pride and glory to Manipur."
Singh extended his gratitude to the entire squad. He thanked the players, coaches, and support staff for their hard work. He expects more wins from this group in future matches.
