Manipur Chief Minister Reviews Kumbi College Expansion Proposal

Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh met with a group of lecturers from Kumbi College on June 29. They gathered at the Secretariat to hash out a formal proposal for the college's development and status change. Cabinet Minister Kh. Loken Singh and MLA S. Premchanda Singh joined the lecturers for the briefing.

The Chief Minister listened to the case. He promised the state government would weigh every part of the plan before moving forward. Decisions take time. Singh noted that the administration wants to boost higher education across the region. The state is hunting for ways to improve infrastructure and provide more seats for local students.

Khemchand Singh said the administration remains "focused on improving educational infrastructure and expanding opportunities for students across the state." Officials did not set a date for a final verdict.
