The organisation stated, "The issues transcend regional interests and concern the sovereignty, administrative integrity and sustainable development of Nagaland." They want a clear list of all villages impacted by the project and a public map showing exact coordinates.
Local officials need to watch the Wokha-Merapani route. The LLRPO wants an Excise outpost there to stop drug smuggling. Meanwhile, the state must finish the second phase of the Foothills Road project. The group plans to keep a close eye on the construction to ensure the state does not waste public money.
