LJP Praises Chirag Paswan for Boosting Nagaland Food Processing

Kohima: The Nagaland State Unit of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has officially commended Union Cabinet Minister for Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan for his efforts to advance the food sector in the region. National secretary S. Richard Humtsoe expressed appreciation for the minister's dedication to strengthening Nagaland’s industrial capabilities.

Paswan has pledged support through his ministry across several key areas, including infrastructure development, investment facilitation, technical assistance, and capacity building. Humtsoe described this development as a "historic step towards transforming Nagaland’s agricultural and allied sectors."

The initiative aims to position Nagaland as the primary food processing center for Northeast India. Party officials anticipate that this focus will empower local farmers, entrepreneurs, self-help groups, and cooperatives while simultaneously creating new employment opportunities across the state.
