Kohima: The Linguistic Minority Forum of Nagaland will host its second Youth Conclave and Cultural Fest on July 12. The event kicks off at 10 AM at the Town Hall in Dimapur. Organizers aim to push youth leadership, communal harmony, and social inclusion while preserving the traditions of linguistic minority groups living in the state.
Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav will headline the inaugural session. He will formally open the proceedings. A second session starts at 1 PM with Moatoshi Longkumer, the advisor for Labour and Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Excise, attending as the special guest.
The day features traditional performances from various linguistic minority communities. These shows highlight the group's commitment to unity in diversity. In a press release, the Forum stated the event is meant for "promoting unity, cultural harmony, social justice and inclusive development."
The Forum is calling on all non-Naga minority members across the state to attend. They specifically want students and young people to show up and join the conversation on the future of their communities.
