Kikrüma Students' Union Backs CSU in Highway Project Dispute

Kohima: The Kikrüma Students' Union is digging in. The group reaffirmed its total support for the Chakhesang Students' Union regarding the ongoing NH-29 Two-Lane Kohima to Jessami Road Project, Package-II. The KSU confirmed this stance in a press statement released on September 29.

The union says its position is simple. It stands by every decision made by its parent organization to protect the interests of the local people. The KSU stated: "We reaffirm that position and state unequivocally that the KSU continues to stand with the decisions already taken by the CSU and with any further decisions and course of action duly adopted by the Union in this matter."

Affiliation dictates this loyalty. The group claims it must uphold the collective responsibility of all affiliated units. They promise to follow all future directives from the CSU as the dispute moves forward.

Don't get it twisted. The KSU warned that any independent actions taken by outside individuals or groups do not represent the union. They remain locked in with the CSU leadership. The union says it plans to keep things professional while pushing for its goals, noting it is committed to "maintaining dignity, discipline, and mutual respect among all concerned institutions and stakeholders."
