Agartala: MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury inspected a new Iron Removal Plant in Totabari on Friday. The facility sits at the local market to fix ongoing water quality issues. It aims to supply iron-free, hygienic water to Totabari and the surrounding areas. The project marks a win for rural infrastructure.

Choudhury toured the site with social worker Shibu Debnath and East Kalyanpur Gram Panchayat Pradhan Dipak Sarkar. They met with project officials to review technical details and operational timelines. The MLA remains focused on bringing basic services to remote communities. "This project is a vital step in protecting people’s health and ensuring better living standards," Choudhury said.

Government officials state they are pushing to upgrade water access, roads, electricity, and health services. Local leaders note the plant will serve hundreds of families. Residents say the facility will prevent waterborne illnesses. The project brings hope for a better quality of life.
