Itanagar's Niba Hospital Demands Police Probe Following Morning Brawl

Itanagar: A violent clash between two unidentified groups erupted at Niba Hospital in Papunalah, Itanagar, on Friday, September 18. The brawl started at 7:30 am. Chaos ensued. The fighting damaged hospital property and terrorized patients, nurses, doctors, and staff on the scene.

Hospital administrators filed an official FIR with local police immediately after the disturbance. Staff are now handing over CCTV footage to investigators to identify those responsible. The administration has made it clear that they refuse to tolerate any intimidation or vandalism on their grounds.

Management addressed the incident in a formal statement. "A hospital is a place where patients and their families should feel safe, secure, and protected, and such acts of violence and disorder have no place within our premises," the hospital stated. They urged the public to stay calm and keep healthcare facilities peaceful.
