Hollotoli School Student Represents Northeast at Doon School Leadership Camp

Kohima: Lian Tungnung, a Class XI student at Hollotoli School in Dimapur, recently completed the Summer Leadership Programme at The Doon School in Dehradun. He holds the distinction of being the only participant selected from the entire Northeast region to join the annual event.

The curriculum focused on experiential learning through group projects, outdoor activities, and leadership workshops. These sessions were designed to help students improve their critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills while fostering personal growth.

Beyond the formal workshops, the event allowed participants to connect with peers from across India. Tungnung engaged in collaborative projects that introduced him to new perspectives on community living and individual responsibility. Reflecting on the impact of the experience, he said, "The programme gave me the opportunity to interact with students from different backgrounds, learn new things and grow in confidence. It was both enriching and memorable."

The Doon School hosts this summer initiative each year to promote holistic development among young students, encouraging them to tackle new challenges and broaden their outlooks.
