Governor Yadav Tours NIT Nagaland to Assess Campus Growth

Kohima: Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav toured the National Institute of Technology in Chümoukedima on July 30. He reviewed the school’s academic achievements, research output, and infrastructure development. The Director in-charge, Dr. R. Kumar, presented a roadmap covering the campus’s growth and future goals.

Yadav walked through the site, inspecting academic buildings, student hostels, and the sports complex. He praised the faculty for their work in building character and shaping students. Addressing the crowd, he noted the school’s role in creating future leaders. He said, "NIT Nagaland had been playing a significant role in nurturing skilled professionals and future leaders for the State and the country."

He challenged students to prioritize innovation, integrity, and public service. He told them to stay curious while tackling real-world problems. Dr. Kumar highlighted the campus environment as a clean, green space that drives personal growth. Registrar Dr. Manoj Prabhakar closed the event with a vote of thanks.
