Kohima: Gethemgo Sports International brought 80 kids under age 12 to NS Futsal in Nagabazar on July 14. They held a FIFA World Cup Children’s Outreach alongside New Market FC. The organizers ran fun football drills and shared the message of God’s love and salvation through Jesus Christ. Every child walked away with a J316 Gospel Ball.
This event fits into a wider vision. Gethemgo wants to reach 5,000 children across the region by handing out these balls. They hope to spark a love for football while building character and faith. The group aims to shape the next generation through sports.
Dr. Viposa Kiso, the Founding Director of Gethemgo Sports International, credited local help for the day’s success. He singled out Kovi Meyase for providing refreshments and rounding up the children. New Market FC also earned praise for the partnership. "Their support and commitment played a vital role in making the outreach a joyful and impactful experience for every child," Kiso stated.
