Agartala: Former MP Rebati Tripura donated blood Sunday at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel. He volunteered during a special camp held alongside Raksha Bandhan festivities. The OPEN NSS Tripura unit organized the event to mix cultural traditions with civic action.

Youth volunteers and community leaders packed the venue. Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Tinku Roy watched the proceedings and spoke to the crowd. He praised the blend of social responsibility and tradition. "The sacred bond of Rakhi spreads harmony, love, and brotherhood. Coupled with the noble act of voluntary blood donation, this initiative is truly commendable," said Roy.

Organizers said the event aims to push young people toward community service. They plan to host more events to promote welfare and social harmony across the state.
