Kohima: The Election Commission of India just dropped ECINET. It is a new digital hub for all things voting. You can find it on the web or download the app on Android and iOS devices.

Nagaland Chief Electoral Officer Bhagyashree Banayat said the move aims to tighten up the system. Banayat stated, "ECINET would improve accessibility, efficiency, transparency and citizen participation in the electoral process."

The tech does it all. Users can register to vote, fix errors on rolls, or update their residence. You can even swap a lost ID card or grab an e-EPIC. Tracking your application status takes seconds now. If you want to check your status, the portal lets you verify your name against recent electoral rolls.

Need help? The app includes a button to book a call with your local booth level officer. If things go wrong, the system links directly to the National Grievance Redressal System. Citizens can file complaints, send in tips, and watch the status of their issues in real time.
