East Dimapur Town Council Praises NSDMA for Drainage Cleanup Success

Kohima: The East Dimapur Town Council has officially thanked the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority for its recent work clearing drainage systems throughout the area. Local officials credited the agency for its hard work in removing debris, a move that has already improved sanitation and reduced waterlogging across the region.

In a statement regarding the project, the Council commended the dedicated efforts of the NSDMA team, stating that the initiative has significantly contributed to improving sanitation, preventing waterlogging and ensuring a cleaner environment for residents of East Dimapur.

Following the successful cleanup, the Council is now asking residents to help maintain these improvements. They urged citizens to avoid dumping trash, plastic, and other waste materials into the drainage channels.
