Dimapur Group Demands Arrest After Attack on Elderly Resident

Kohima: The Dimapur Nkonjan Nyiro Range Ekhung (DNNRE) is calling for a swift police crackdown following the violent robbery of a senior citizen. Assailants blindfolded and robbed the elderly resident from Longla village in a move that has rocked the community.

DNNRE officials blasted the act as a cowardly violation of basic human decency. They labeled the incident as "deeply disturbing, inhumane and wholly unacceptable." The group fears that such crimes erode the safety and respect traditionally held for elders.

Local authorities face mounting pressure to act. The organization wants a thorough investigation to track down the suspects immediately. They expect police to book the perpetrators and secure justice for the victim without any delay.
