Agartala: The Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan has successfully reached more than 11,117 residents in West Tripura. Running from May 19 to May 25, the campaign held 68 service camps across 35 revenue villages to deliver welfare schemes directly to tribal-dominated areas.
District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar emphasized that the initiative aims to provide inclusive development for tribal families. By prioritizing remote villages, the program ensures that essential services reach eligible citizens who might otherwise face barriers to government support.
During the week of events, participants accessed a wide range of services including Aadhaar updates, Scheduled Tribe certificates, and health insurance through the Ayushman Bharat scheme. The campaign also facilitated access to the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, the PM Ujjwala Yojana, and various pension programs.
Public health remained a core focus of the outreach, with 2,700 people attending medical check-ups and awareness sessions. Additionally, 926 individuals received residency and tribal status certificates, while 838 people utilized services related to their Aadhaar documentation. The campaign continues to promote the principle of reaching the most remote areas first to foster sustainable community development.
