Shillong: Members of the Asom Kristi Kendra met in Stoneyland, Shillong, to honor Munindra Kumar Bordoloi. The long-time organization member died on July 2, 2026. He was 79. Attendees gathered on the Kendra premises to pay their respects to a man defined by his local service.
Bordoloi held a career as a Transport Officer in Shillong back when the region was still undivided Assam. During his tenure with the Kendra, he took charge of community building efforts. Colleagues noted he played a role in these initiatives. They stated, "Bordoloi had played a pivotal role in the community building initiatives undertaken by the Kendra."
