Kohima: The Deputy Commissioner of Chümoukedima has issued a call for applications to fill a vacant government nominee seat on the Chümoukedima Town Council. This recruitment follows a directive from the Municipal Affairs Department of Nagaland issued on May 22, 2026.
The appointment process is being conducted under the authority granted by Section 22(4) of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023. Officials noted that the recruitment is being undertaken pursuant to a communication from the Municipal Affairs Department, Nagaland.
