Itanagar: Flash floods and landslides turned the Potin-Possa corridor into a dead end. Eight major blockages shut down the route in Keyi Panyor district. The Potin-Lichi and Possa-Potin stretches remain impassable. Restoration will take time.

The Border Roads Organisation is clearing debris from the Kimin side. Two Poclain excavators are digging from Pitapool. Authorities expect normal traffic to resume in three to four days. "No definitive timeline has yet been provided for the safe resumption of traffic movement."

Search crews are scouring the wreckage for four missing people. The State Disaster Response Force and local police lead the hunt. An Indian Air Force helicopter transported the remains of Smt. Nirmala Gupta from Pitapool, while medics airlifted a sick patient from Ziro.

Crews are working to bring back water and power. Residents helped fix the supply lines for the local Higher Secondary School. Officials hope to restore basic services to the New Pitapool area by Thursday evening.
