Arunachal CM Khandu Targets School Reform After ANSU Meeting

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu sat down with the All Nyishi Students Union to hash out a plan for the state's schools. Lawmakers from the Nyishi community and members of the Nyishi Elite Society also joined the meeting. The talk centered on fixing the state's crumbling educational infrastructure.

Students deserve better. The group reviewed assessments of schools in Nyishi areas and beyond. Khandu praised the student union for getting out on the ground to document the real conditions of these institutions. The governor's office wants to provide better learning opportunities for all children.

Khandu told the delegation, "Education was a shared responsibility and emphasised the need for collective efforts to strengthen government schools and improve access to quality education." The session ended with a promise from state leaders and stakeholders to team up. They aim to overhaul the system and boost student performance across the entire state.
