Kohima: Advisor Zhaleo Rio officially opened a new community hall in Khughovi Village. The project falls under the Local Area Development Programme for 2025 and 2026. This initiative is part of a larger plan by Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio to drive grassroots development. The advisor praised the construction quality.
He told the crowd that leaders must be honest and dedicated. He also said he views himself as a representative for all Nagas. His message centered on the need for unity to achieve sustainable progress. He warned that some people continue to create hurdles that block state growth.
The conversation shifted to the ongoing Household Census in Nagaland. The advisor urged residents to report data accurately and steer clear of political interference. "I consider myself a leader of the Nagas as a whole, dedicated to the welfare of all communities," he stated.
He warned against duplicate registrations. These entries will be deleted. Past records from the 2011 Census were inflated, which damaged the reputation of the state. He claimed these errors hurt performance in health, education, and rural development. Omekali Aye chaired the event, and Pikuto Kiho provided the closing remarks.
