Zuketsa Area Public Organisation Leads Regional Cleanup Effort

Kohima: The Zuketsa Area Public Organisation (ZAPO) held its Sanitation Day on July 18 across its entire jurisdiction. Affiliated units across all villages launched cleanup drives to clear waste. The operation targeted public spaces and surrounding areas.

ZAPO president Kedoutsolhi Wetsah confirmed full cooperation from local units. Members worked through the day to tidy their environments. They removed trash and scrubbed common areas.

Wetsah noted that these efforts serve a broader goal. "Regular sanitation drives help improve public health, prevent the spread of diseases, remove accumulated waste, enhance the quality of life, support economic development and contribute to the overall cleanliness, dignity and safety of communities," Wetsah said. The initiative seeks to ensure safety for everyone.
