Guwahati: Assam Pradesh Youth Congress president Zubair Anam Majumdar is missing from the organizing committee for the upcoming Youth Conclave. The event will take place in Guwahati during the first week of September. APCC president Gaurav Gogoi leads the initiative.

An August 17 office note listed the planners for the event. The team includes MLA Dr. Jay Prakash Das, former MLA Satyabrata Kalita, Jayanta Khaound, and NSUI president Kaushik Kashyap. Ashik Iqbal, Palakshi Das, Birinchi Bora, and Kuldeep Rajbongshi round out the group. Majumdar holds the top spot for the state youth wing, yet his name remains off the list.

Whispers of a rift between Gogoi and Majumdar have swirled since the last Assembly elections. The party note offers zero explanation for the exclusion. Despite the silence, the official mission remains clear. The APCC aims to bolster democratic foundations and encourage political participation.

The party claims the gathering will help steer the state toward progress. "The Youth Conclave seeks to inspire, educate, and mobilise the youth of Assam," the APCC stated. Organizers expect the event to turn young energy into a tool for national growth.
