Kohima: The Viphoma Village Youth and Sports Organization slammed a strict ban on outsiders this week. No one from outside the village can hunt, fish, or collect local flora and fauna within village borders.
The group issued a firm warning to the public. "Any outsiders found engaging in such activities would be fined Rs.10,000 per person."
The organization says it will strictly enforce these new rules. They directed all outsiders to comply with the notice immediately to avoid heavy penalties.
