Agartala: Tripura Leader of Opposition Jitendra Choudhury says blood donation is a vital social act. It preserves human bonds. Choudhury spoke at a blood donation camp in Agartala on Sunday. The Tripura Government Employees Association hosted the event. He noted that technology advances daily. AI now handles creative tasks like music and photography. Yet, blood remains irreplaceable.

"I am not trained in the use of computers. In recess, I use artificial intelligence out of curiosity to learn more about it," Choudhury told the crowd. He believes blood should never be artificially created. He insists this ensures human relations stay protected. He warned that viewing donation solely as a way to save the sick misses the bigger picture. It provides necessary mental and social nourishment. People need more than just food to survive.

Choudhury condemned recent attacks on blood donation camps. He questioned whether humans truly deserve the label of the world's best creation. He argued that society must fight to keep the essence of humanity alive. He praised the Tripura Government Employees Association for working for the common good. He told the audience that an organization's impact matters more than its total membership numbers. The group looks out for all of society rather than just its own members.
