Tripura Leaders Launch Digital Census 2027 Self-Enumeration

Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha and Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu registered for Census 2027 on Friday. They used the new digital portal to complete their self-enumeration. The Governor finished his submission at Raj Bhavan in Agartala. The Chief Minister handled his registration from his official residence.

Saha pushed citizens to submit accurate data on time. He wants everyone to join the national exercise. Digital tools make the process simpler and more transparent. It removes the old paperwork. The Centre aims to modernize data collection through this tech-driven approach.

Saha highlighted the broader goals of the project. He noted that the census builds the base for government planning and resource allocation. It drives inclusive development for the entire country. The data shapes future policy agendas.

In a post on X, the Chief Minister stated, "As part of the Census 2027, today I completed my self-enumeration process. I urge every citizen to actively participate in this national exercise by completing the digital self-enumeration process accurately and within the stipulated time." He insists that wider public participation is the only way to ensure success for the state and the nation.
