Agartala: The Tripura Gramin Bank Officers Association gathered at hotel Noah Spire on Saturday. The organization held its 36th Annual General Council Meeting and Biennial Conference. It represents 221 members in the state.
Food and Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury served as the chief guest. AIRRBOF general secretary Srijan Kumar Pal spoke to the crowd. AIRRBOF president Sagar S Joshi and AIBOC state secretary Sanjoy Datta also attended. They discussed the history of the group, which started in 1987. Speakers focused on protecting the professional interests of staff.
Unity is their main goal. Members stressed collective responsibility for the bank's future growth. One speaker noted the event highlights their "commitment to protecting the legitimate interests of its members while contributing to the growth and development of Tripura Gramin Bank and the banking sector."
The business session begins Sunday at 9 am. Leaders will review the general secretary report and audited accounts. They will also run elections for the 20th Central Committee.
