Shillong: Two separate academic events hit the calendar this Thursday. St. Anthony’s College is hosting a one-day national workshop focused on "Contextualising Indian Knowledge Systems and Indian Value Systems for a Holistic and Value-Based Higher Education." The event explores how traditional Indian values fit into modern classrooms.

Meanwhile, the College of Post-Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences based in Umiam starts a two-day workshop. The program centers on Cow Management and Innovation. Scientists, academicians, entrepreneurs, and farmers will gather to trade expertise on the scientific management of indigenous cattle.
