Safety Fears Mount After Pothole Hits New Assam Flyover

Guwahati: A massive hole appeared on the Kaliabor Tiniali flyover in Assam just days after its debut. Drivers face a wreck. This structure took 12 years to build, yet it is already failing. The gap sits in the middle of the road. It creates a major danger for anyone moving toward Jorhat or Sivasagar.

A local resident marked the hazard with a red cloth to warn oncoming traffic. People are furious. They are blaming the contractor, Ganapati, for the poor build quality of the bridge. One resident stated, "The resident also expressed anger against Ganapati, the contractor involved in the construction of the flyover, over the condition of the newly opened structure."

Authorities are urging motorists coming from Guwahati and Nagaon to stay alert. The quick decay of the pavement has residents demanding answers about the oversight of the project. Public safety is at stake.
