Imphal: Police identified the man found unresponsive at the Sulabh Complex in Alu Gali Machin. He was discovered near BT Road at 2:40 pm on July 28. Officers took him to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, known as RIMS. Doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
The victim is 35-year-old Achung Shinglai, the son of Wungchan Shinglai from Kasom Somrei Village. His sister, Vanmila Shinglai, confirmed his identity at the RIMS mortuary. Medical staff completed a post-mortem examination on Monday. Officials released the body to the family shortly after.
