NSRLM Hosts DDU GKY Alumni Gathering in Bengaluru

Kohima: The Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission gathered alumni, employers, and stakeholders in Bengaluru on September 18. They met to celebrate career milestones from the Ministry of Rural Development skill programme. Over 100 participants attended the event. These included working candidates, state officials, and local Naga community members.

Moa Sangtam, the Mission Director of NSRLM, served as the special guest. He urged the former students to stay hungry for knowledge and act as role models for rural youth in Nagaland. He told the crowd: "The importance of skill development, perseverance and continued learning in building sustainable careers" remains the key to future success.

Alumni Isigwangle and Mercy Konyak shared their own professional journeys during the session. They discussed the hurdles they cleared after finishing their training. Dean Cooper from The Den, a unit of Dan Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd., spoke about the demands of the modern workplace. He pushed for discipline and professionalism.

Dr. Sneha C.V., the COO of Skills for Karnataka SRLM, also joined the stage. She challenged the group to keep upgrading their abilities to find new opportunities. Ebibeni Humtsoe chaired the meeting. Pastor Nikato Yeptho led the invocation, and Menuoneituo Chadi offered the welcome remarks to the attendees.
