Imphal: Manipur NPP president Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze confirms his party will protect the interests of genuine state citizens. He spoke at the NPP headquarters in Mantripukhri, Imphal. Pfoze promised to provide every possible support to the people.
His stance tracks with earlier legislative action. The Manipur Legislative Assembly passed resolutions in August 2022 and March 2024 calling for a full state citizenship register. Pfoze insists all efforts must stay constitutional, equitable, and just. He stated, "NPP will go on helping the genuine citizens of Manipur with whatever support is possible."
The party remains firm. They continue to back the legislative demands for registration. Any future action will align with these established state mandates.
