Kohima: Advisor for Tribal Affairs and Elections H. Tovihoto Ayemi opened a bridge connecting Naga Colony and East Block Colony at Burma Camp on Friday. Construction finished under the Article 275 (1) Scheme with funding from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. The project moved forward after the colony council pushed the government for help.

Ayemi thanked the technical team and contractor for the work. He linked the successful build to the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio. He told residents, "progress was being witnessed across various sectors." He also promised that road improvements in the area would start soon.

Zasivikho Zakiesato, the Naga Colony chairman and DUCCF president, noted that the bridge helps the whole Dimapur area. He asked locals to stop dumping trash in the drains to keep the area clean. Toshi Ozukum and Rangom Hau spoke at the event before Rev. Visasier Kevichusa offered a dedicatory prayer.
