National Sports University Opens 11 Job Vacancies in Imphal

Imphal: The National Sports University in Imphal is hunting for new talent. They have 11 job openings ready to fill this year. These roles cover both teaching and non-teaching positions for the Manipur campus.

Nine of these spots are for Assistant Professors. They need experts in sports coaching for athletics, shooting, weightlifting, and badminton. They also need staff for physical education, sports psychology, and sports nutrition. These teaching roles pay 80,000 rupees every month. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree with 55 percent marks and clear the National Eligibility Test.

The university also needs a Junior Engineer for civil work and a Public Relations Officer. The engineering role requires either a Bachelor’s degree with one year of experience or a diploma with three years of practice. The PR role demands a Master’s in journalism plus five years of work in the field. These roles pay 50,000 rupees monthly.

Candidates must mail or hand-deliver their packets to the registrar. Send all documents to Olympic Bhavan in Imphal before August 9, 2026. The university warns that "The candidate should mention Application for the post of ____(Contractual) on top of the envelope." Everyone except women, SC, ST, and PWD applicants must pay a 1,000 rupee fee to the university’s HDFC Bank account and include the receipt.
