Nagaland Primary Teachers Group Delays Award Ceremony

Kohima: The All Nagaland Government Primary Teachers Association officially pushed back its felicitation ceremony. The event was set for July 10 to honor those who passed the Limited Departmental Examination. It is now on hold.

The association says the delay stems from the state government. The departmental paperwork for the newly qualified teachers remains unfinished. No new date or venue exists yet.

The group still wants data from members. "The collection of details of the successful primary teachers will continue as planned and requested all concerned to extend their cooperation," the association said in a public statement. Officials will announce the new schedule later.
