Nagaland Football Association to Plant 2,036 Trees for Olympic Day

Kohima: The Nagaland Football Association is heading to Reiphinyü Badze in Kohima on June 23. They plan to plant 2,036 saplings starting at 11:00 AM. It is a major push for greenery.

The drive aligns with the Nagaland Olympic Association and the International Olympic Committee's Olympic Forest Initiative. Officials hope to meet broader sustainability goals through this sweat equity. The total count of 2,036 trees stands as a direct "commitment to environmental sustainability."

President K Neibou Sekhose and joint secretary Chenonlo Woch signed off on the plan. They asked every District Football Association to send at least one representative. Attendance will show support for the wider Olympic movement.
